Man how do you come to this conclusion? We are search for knowledge, just the gov. does not want its people to know the adult and other information against its rulling, but that does not mean the Chinese people do not want to learn.
The bing release is a breaking news in IT industry . But most user in China know Google and baidu , The fact is only a part of webmasters know bing since its release . ( Bing is still not born in China. LOL )
Yes you are right, few people use Bing, and I do not think Bing can beat Google or Baidu either. Since Bing does not bring any traffic, webmasters even do not care about it.
Hi, man I would think you might be wrong. Bing.com do bring us some new experiences on search and would be accepted some day. So, Let's just wait and see and not make our conclusion too early! Bing.com could drive you traffics and thus sales if you do right on bing! Have a nice day,
It means, anything that would tell something about the outer world to Chinese and some real thing about china will be banned there. It's not about China is great or powerful, but if they will continue to ban in this way then Chinese will know China only not India and USA. That's not going to be a good favor for Chinese. I think 60-70 % Chinese are against this decision, but no one can do anything.
There is a Chinese version of Bing. http://cn.bing.com/ Don't know if its accessible in china or not??
Well, even if bing is being blocked by china, it wouldnt be long till microsoft will fillter their search results as well. After all it's a big market, and with cn.bing.com around we know microsoft value this market. ;P Bing's chinese name "必应" is quite meaningful btw, pronounced as "Bi-Ying" and it translates to something like "Responds for sure" or something. ;P Anyway, don't hate China's government because every country has their own culture. I'm sure their intention of blocking adult sites is to protect their citizens from harmful influences.
No it's not like that. Blogspot is banned, but many Chinese are still writing on it. Wherever there is a ban on anything, people will figure out a way. So virtually a government could not ban anything.
haha that crazy chinese john song wong ill (the crazy nuff nuff launching missiles every 2 mins) will probly nuke google if they don't block the content. i thought our aussie goverment was corrupt, china blocking people searching stuff thats whacked
