I see on the first page of Bing search results there is a PRLog I made for my website. This doesn't show up in Google (on the first page at least).

I was just wondering if anyone knew if Bing indexes things quicker then Google or Yahoo?

I think, all search engine indexes things at regular interval. The difference is the algorithm. Different search engine adopt different algorithm. That's why you have the problem.

If you want faster indexing in bing, add your website sitemap to bing.com and also add your website url in bing. It will definitely index your website within 72 hours.

Google indexes faster than any search engine but your site will only get indexed in bing and google if you have some fresh content. Google is way easier to get indexed rather then bing for some reason but I really dont focus much on bing because they feed off of sites like google anyway and you will sooner or later be indexed. Be sure you have good content and there is backlinks coming in.

Bing indexes very slow, crawls slow, and a lot of people say they have tons of pages indexed in google, but very few in bing. You will see people complaining about bing very often. If you are on page 1 in bing check it for a while to see if it drops or disappears. Bing and google do things a bit differently. If it sticks possibly bing likes your on page content and optimization better. Google likes on page optimization, but it tends to consider backlinks more than bing does.

You should know that google and bing are two different search engines with different algorithms. Google indexes faster than Bing though.

Yes a sitemap is a good idea for Bing, if you can get through their horrible site sign-in and validation procedures. I am so sick of Bing but the fact is they are gaining market share because a lot of IE users are just being driven to them, so it makes sense to make sure you are indexed well in Bing. THey are tied to the hip with Yahoo as well.
