I don't use Bing for regular search but for images it is far superior. Check it out and it basically gives you unlimited results on a single page (so you don't have to click "next" to look at each page of images). All you do is scroll down. The reason I mention this to you guys is that it makes my work a lot easier when I am finding images to use on my websites, so I wanted to recommend it as a time saving tip for fellow webmasters/designers.
Is it so? I never use BING even i've already known it. But about image searching? I'll try it. Thanks for your information.
On the whole I disagree - I find Bing's image search obstructive. When you are rolling over one image, try rolling over one below it. You'll quickly find that you can't, because it's covered up by the details of the image you're currently hovering over. It's this kind of inaccessibility that causes users to use a different image search. It's also far too picky in finding its results. For example, search "tileable website background", Bing returns just 120 results whilst Google returns 20,000+. I agree, the ajax feature that loads the next set of images instead of displaying them across multiple pages is fairly decent, although you could argue that clicking the "next" button on Google loads equally as quickly as waiting for the next set of images to load. Also, turn of Javascript and Bing's image search is rendered absolutely useless. Google's image search however, continues to function at top efficiency. Bing's efforts of creating a "modern" search provider haven't worked terribly well in my opinion. On the internet, simple is best.
this is true !!I tried it for may city and realy pure pictures of my cities no banner or headers. they have a good algo for show pictures. Bing will be a real competition the next time for google. playaner
The video and image search on Bing blows Google away - as much as people hate to admit it, MS has been innovating for decades and has some of the best brains in the industry working for them
thanks for this information. But still I like googles image search anyway now I gonna try in bing too.
If they have some of the best brains in the industry working for them, than why does almost half of their products ALWAYS break? i.e, XBox 360, Bing (fail), Windows.
