Bing email

    Does anyone know if Bing is planning on coming out with Bing mail? I know Microsoft currently has Live/Hotmail. I wonder if they plan in making the change in the future. I think it would be a good marketing ploy to help garner more market share from Google.

    In my opinion it would be a waste of time to come out with another mail service. I guess it would depend on what the service was called, how awesome would it be to have a @bing.com mail :p

    With Gmail around, i dont find a market for another email service. but cant say though, its the internet!

    I suspect not, Bing is the search engine arm of Microsoft rather than being an email provider. There is little point in Bing competing against Hotmail.

    Bing loses money hand over fist for Microsoft so, yeah, let them start another webmail service, in addition to HotMail, and really drag things down more. I am shocked HotMail is still around. I'm even more shocked that people use it.

    It won't. Microsoft already have Hotmail, it just wouldn't make sense to make Bing email too.

    it will not help much better they optimize and add new feature to hotmail only
