Bing.com online since 29-Jan-1996?

    Hi guys,

    does anyone know why alexa is stating bing.com has been online since 29-Jan-1996?

    Also have you seen the reach percentage it went from 0% to 5% in 7 days, great acheivement by the micrsoft cooperation well done.

    Yes. Think they bought that domain from someone. I wish it was me.

    The same was the case with bing.in and other domains related to bing MS must have paid an hefty amount to get these domains

    it was a parked domain for a few years, then EasyMail owned it.
