It doesn't show any PageRank in the Google toolbar for me

    * now it's showing PR9. I've noticed that PR in Google Toolbar has been jumping around today (on sites that have new PR)

    MerliSeo is correct.
Bing is used by msn and live.com.
Msn even use 2 search box, top and bottom..

Bing truly has grown quickly as a brand. I really like the daily themes that are on the Bing.com homepage. They were there for "live search," but needed a brand to be associated with.

Thousands of articles/pages linking to the site when it first went live definitely helps

Nothing impress me. Microsoft have promoted Bing like crazy. And thousand if not million of people are writing about it all over the world on their website. Free backlinks for them.

That's normal, Bing got a lot of reviews on newspapers and sites like mashable and techcrunch and sure microsoft is supporting it with links so it's rank will jump higher.

It may even reach 10 in the future

This shows that Bing will be in number 2. Killing Yahoo and then eventually Google.
