Bing.com has big problems!

Hello,
For some reason, I can't seem to add a website in my site list.

Everytime I click on the button to add I get the following message...



We could not find the page you requested.

This is the first I've ever encountered. Is this a bug?

Is anybody as Microsoft listening? It's still not working!

it is a proof.. google still the best!!!

 

its still under developing so it may take some time to see perfect bing search !!

 

Seems to be working for me. I think iwillguide is right - we have to remember that they are still developing the platform so its bound to have a few hiccups.

 

My new site is PR1 and is already indexed in google and yahoo, but for some reason BING seems to be ignoring it!

Whatever, I wish Bing to enhance the search engine market as a result of competitiveness we can get better service at the end of the day

 

same problem with me. i think bing has to be good more than now.

 

I haven't faced any problem, be careful while submitting the information. Bing works fine and I can sey better than google

do not why microsoft still bother with search engines !!

the way is now - they got no chances to overtake anybody !

many search engines can have your site listed in NO time !! while this has always been a Big problem with ms engines - like if is a luxury to have it there !

it never goes into their brain - that what users want is LOTS OF SEARCH RESULTS !!!!! when they search a search engine !!

too much conservative ==== crap search engine !

and that is what bing exactly is - - a far too much conservative search engine !! that will never go to ping !

 

You're correct. However, I'm a regular at Bing Community and many members there are complaining about the same thing lately. One of their staff, Brett Yount, explained that one of their data centers connected to Bing Webmaster Center is experiencing a problem, which makes it hard for webmasters to add sites. He suggested that whenever the issue occurs, just log out and log back in. If you're lucky the second time, you might be connected to another data center that doesn't have that problem. He said that he doesn't have any information when the data center will be fixed. Apparently he doesn't work in that department in-charge of fixing machines.

but - i like to add - even when msn was online - me and some friends add their sites - some of them good and very popular site - never got listed !

while google and others - they are much much faster to get things on their court ! - and that is why their search engine is above msn and now bing !

do not confuse me - i like to see other search engine emerging - other than google - but as things stands - and they way you are told: your site might be listed in 3 months ! if you lucky ??

by the time 3 months are gone google has already listed 3000 pages of a site ! it will than be too late ! or others to compete !

Bing.com is still BETA. It means there WILL be problems. You can complain if you have problem after they are official out of beta.

 

bing is still in beta so the problems shall be fixed soon.

 

Thats why its hard for Bing to overtake Google.

And thats why most of the people use Google even now.
