Google should really worry about this deal since they are not too strong in Europe and Asia. Despite their dominance in the US this deal makes a perfect sense for both yahoo and Microsoft, at the actual pace of growing, google should reach 80% to 90% of searches in the next two or three years making impossible to new competitors to come in.

    Bing/YahooVsGoogle

Who will win? I think Bing will split and get even with google and were going to see them promoting like crazy.

The only thing I'm concerned about is if they will discontinue the Yahoo backlinks tool. The one and only tool left to check the competition and price the websites.

All of these pro Google posts must be made by Google staff... or SEO people dependent on selling their expert unawareness.

It's not a case of dinosaurs versus anything. Google wants to sell ads and manipulates search results to that end. How can anyone recommend an ad skimmer as a search engine?

A Bing Yahoo merger was inevitable... the Internet was designed to not be controlled by any one entity.

Of course it matters. This thread was started based on a news story from 2 years ago. That subject died and is no longer relevant. So everyone here is responding to a non-existent event. Of course, I wouldn't expect intelligence from most people here.
