Just wondered if anyone else is seeing a surge in Bing related traffic to their websites? I manage SEO for a number of different clients in different niches and Bing is no coming second behind google in terms of the amount of traffic it is sending to the sites. It is still along way behind in terms of numbers but has pushed past Yahoo in terms of referals. A number of the sites have fallen in the bing results but i am not ready to start change the seo approach until I can be sure the changes won't have a negative effect in google. Anyone have any great leaps in Bing rankings? Do you know the factors?
In SEO factor I think everyone optimize for Google... after that all other major search engine include your page as it in google.
Significant increase in BING referrals here too. Depending on niche and demographics, Bing referrals might convert better for some. Something to keep an eye on I would say. When Yahoo starts showing Bing results they will have a big enough market share to actually count. I expect 30-40% of our referrals will then be from Bing results - a high enough number that it can not be ignored.
I've seen a small increase but I think that mostly to Bing surge on their launch. With the take over of Yahoo search, I'm really starting to think long term SEO for Bing.
I'm seeing bing coming second to google in terms of search engines too, across a number of sites. Still a long way behind Google, though. From personal observation, anchored text seems to be the main factor.
