Bing’s Market Share is 51% Up. Will it capture more market

It is true that Bing and Yahoo are melting together, in first place in the US and Canada, it should be done in late Oct 2010. but from now on if you have an account at Yahoo for that area you are being ask to transfer it to Bing.

It means a lot of TOS changes as well, so you better check up

 

Bing results are already on FB.

When FB fully integrates Bing/Yahoo, and 500 million clueless users find out that they don't need a separate browser window to search... they'll lock in FB and rip off the knob.

 

Due to "alliance" the lines between Bing and Yahoo! Search are getting really blurred.

 

You must have a really slow internet connection. Yahoo's search engine has been run by Bing for a week now.

It can capture the market but to beat the Google.com potential is not a JOKE

 

Bing results are also good, it may be possible not upto the mark as Google but it is competitive but the thing is presentation of results is not good as Google, may be that is the place where Bing need to work on

I'm not so sure, a 51% increase isn't unlikely, if you look at their marketing activities their growth could be 51%. They have been very, very aggressive in terms of their marketing.

Let's assume they encourage existing users to use them twice as often, that easily doubles up their market share. It all depends on how the statistics has been cut.

Bing and Yahoo, even if they combine they cant beat google technology, google prefers search first, while yahoo prefers mail first

 

It's still only 10% of the US market.

Looking at my stats for various sites, Bing only accounts for 1-5% on average. They've still got a long way to go to catch up.

 

Guys dont read properly i guess its 51% increase of thier old market share so if it was 2% before its become 3% now ..

 

ya i have this question too and i think in future it will make more markets by improving their services so its depend on their service

 

i think in future its can because day by day they improve their service and also its next search is bing visual search its going to make more market

 

You guys have been saying this stuff for a year and a half now and Bing has gone nowhere. Give it up.
