Hi there. I had this server up and running from the web perfectly for approx 2 months. Then one day, it just doesn't go anymore, no apparent reason, the only POSSIBLE reason I can think of is the router/network connection was unplugged and the computer was restarted. However, this should not effect anything. This is the error I am receiving in the DOS prompt. (OS 10048)Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80 no listening sockets available, shutting down Unable to open logs Note the errors or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit. 25... I understand the only one instance is allowed to use port 80. I have done the netstat command with the server NOT running and nothing is using port 80 on the server. I am however using TeamViewer for remote support, and that uses port 80. (I think anyways because when I go to 127.0.0.1 I see a message saying "this site is brougth to you by team viewer), however I had the site perfectly working before with teamviewer installed. Any ideas? Config File: ServerName 127.0.0.1:80 Listen 80 P.S. I have all the ports open I need (80) and are forwarded correctly. Thanks in advance its been bugging me like crazy.
nope, I restarted apachee and the computer!, no go. I even reinstalled apache. no go. (removing the config files and everything). As soon as I turn off Apache, port 80 becomes free. I just cant figure it out. I wasn;t quite sure to see how httpd was running or not, I took a look in services but only saw apache, which was running btw. PLEASEE HELP
Another software is running on the port 80 on your computer. Try to close this appliction. If you have skype, then close it, it is allocating the port 80. You can change this port in settings.
