Hi all I'm looking for a open source billing system, pref. writen in php. I'll try a desktop application if it's going to solve my problems - but I need the possibility to change the invoice layout. I have been Googling for two days now, trying out different systems and I can't seem to find a good one. It's either too big and too complicated or it's small and undeveloped... Needed features: - Customer managment - Product/Service managment - Flexible billing system (recurring invoices as well) - I want to host it my self, no web-services... Any suggestion welcome Thanks!
It's not open source or php, so might not help, but FreshBooks is probably the best online billing system. Recurring billing included. Good luck.
enterprise-billing.com it's desktop, but you can change all the templates, and it has a lot of other features - check out the trial! I'm not actively marketing this yet as I need some work done on the site, but maybe you'll be interested in a license.
