Hello, I have just put together a little Billiards site with some pictures, videos and news on it. Please let me know what you think and what I can do to make it more appealing and get more visitors. Thanks http://www.9ball-billiards.info
you have a lot of unused space...maybe instead of aligning the photos as you have them, make them different sizes and stagger them around to make it more appealing...this might help the long scroll you have going on right now as well.
hello. the site looks good overall, and you have done a great job with the header. i don't really like the banner, it is not fit. and like gro11ver there is too much space unused. good luck
I'll have to look into how to better use up some space when having the pictures posted... Anyone else have any comments? Good or Bad... I'll take them
Nice header you have there. It'll be nicer if the no. 9 ball is in it ~ suits your domain name. USP/slogan also available ~ good! Overall: okay!
you could add some pages about the 9ball billiard game and it has to be SEO format with rich keywords so that you can get better position on the search engines. most of us here probably know how the game is played and how and when it became available. But more info would not harm. gr8 markering tool
If you dont want you adsense banned then change your adsense ads. You are displaying 3 ads of 468x60 size on the same page (first page). You are allowed to display just one of each size. Allso change their collor.
I'm hoping to keep adding content to the site in order to continue making it more and more useful. I may at some time try to come up with a header with the 9ball as the central focus but this will do for now. As far as not being allowed to have 3 of the same size ads on a page... can anyone confirm this? All I have been able to find it this: Ad Placement AdSense offers a number of ad formats and advertising products. Publishers are encouraged to experiment with a variety of placements, provided the following policies are respected: * Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page. * A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page. * A single link unit may also be placed on each page. * Up to two referral units from each referral product or offering may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above. * AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results. No other ads may be displayed on your search results page. * No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed in a pop-up, pop-under, or in an email. * Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads. * No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages. * No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant. Again, thanks for the comments and keep them comming.
