He wont enjoy it! He will be back to work before you know it. People like him can't just sit back and live the simple live no matter how much he thinks he can. It's like people who do 30 years in prison and finally get out and like a month later end up in prison again jsut because it's a life they've become accustom to. I give him like 3 months
He is crazy.. he wont enjoy his money, since wherever he goes, he is surrounded with lots of bodyguards almost all the time
You're talking about a man who has had billions of dollars for like that past century but only takes 2 vacation days a year. This is a guy that would spend 18 hours a day playing on a computer in college and the other 6 was spent sleeping. His whole life he's had an amazing work ethic and I think it's going to be really hard for him to adjust. If he can do it I give him props, but I really don't see it happening. He may say he is retired but I say he still stops in to work every other day.
i only heard about this today, quite big news! i wonder if Microsoft will ever be the same in the future without him as head architect, maybe this is an improvement for Microsoft (hope it is ).
lots of people hate Bill Gates and i understand why but no one can take away what he achieved, Microsoft will likely go even further down hill from here
I think you are right people were jelous from him. but i don't think so this Big empire of MS fall down. Every one need to change, today or will tomorrow. Nothing is permanent but he has managed MS very well, and the administrative staff will bring up MS at a peak level in SW industry.
