Man, i just got a news of Bill Gates shifting priorities in 2 years, some news even mentioned "Bill Gates to retire in 2008".

What will happen, if Bill Gates really retire in 2 years?

Bill Gates will be shifting in 2 years

    Anyone have comments about this?

Internet technology today really fast, in just a few minutes only, the news about Bill Gates is everywhere. Worst thing is some even mentioned will the stock drop? I dare not mention about it, but i am sure there over at least 60% or more that are using Microsoft Products.

Uncle Bill was being mentioned that he is doing part time? part time on a web. Hmm.. he does really work hard.

He's not going anywhere. He's just minimizing his role in daily activities.

I think it's great he's putting more time into his donation foundation. He's stepping down to help more people. Go Gates.

Who do you admire more than Microsoft? Bill Gates. Really, for anyone who wants to build a digital business, the man is iconic. He his significantly more honest that Jobs.

He has built a business despite being incapable of bundling software with their operating system in the same manner as any other software maker. The Apple ads which make fun of this legal impediment faced by Microsoft are, at best, disengenuous.

He embraced the vision of a computer on every desktop and delivered software that was "good enough" to make that happen. Helping foster the environment within which most of us here hope to prosper.

Who among us has accomplished anything close Gates. He spends more on philanthorpic ventures than any individual I know and perhaps more than all the people on these forums combined. I can only applaud that. At least he gives back to the world, which is more than I can say for the vast majority of dot coms.

I wish him luck and can only applaud his work.

Yes I completely agree with clancey. Im a huge Gates fan. Anyone interested in business really would have to respect him, how couldn't you?
Despite his shady beginnings, not just anyone could build an empire as he has.

I'm tired of Gates/MS bashing, its old and boring.

Good on him for giving more and more, he gives a damn lot but its something many people choose to ignore.

It will be a sad day when/if Bill Gates retires from Microsoft completely.

Klingerrr and webviz that is very rude, you both need an additude ajustments. Without Bill Gates we would be on macs, who would want that? And webviz, who do I hate? You, quick PMing me, especially after that comment. Bill Gates is awesome, quit trying to diss him.
