    After the bid to yahoo, microsoft shares drop 15% placing bill gates in 3rd position. Now in no 1 is warren buffet which is funny since he pledged to donate most of his stocks worth to bill and melinda foundation.

    What does the foundation have to do with anything? I thought we were talking about how rich Bill Gates is, not the foundation net income.

    Most of their charity goes to Planet parenthood who are responsible for the 1 child per family limit in china.

    The richest family in the world is now the ambani according to the Rich list from the times. Him and his brother combined came over the walton family etc.

    The Ambani brothers are the richest combined as a family. But after their father's death, the Ambani group broke up and the brothers became seperate. So, they are regarded as two completely seperate business entities even in the forbes list.

    Also good to see a lot of Indians making to the top 100.

    There are 10 Indians in the top 100 list with 4 of them in the top 10 list.

    Good to see Warren Buffet too at the top. He is a gem of a person.

    oh i think the ranking still doesn't include all net worth. Bill gates still has a private investment company cascade, which nobody can analyze. it's according to forbes.
