    Most of the biggest threads on my forum are off-topic threads such as "post what song you are currently listening to". Others are threads in the admin-discussion forum with to-do lists and such.

    I lock all threads that hits 1,000. Most of the threads that hits 1,000 are mostly in the Forum Games forum or Offtopic forum.

    to get people addicted

    forum based games like the "4 letter word game" or "abc word game" among others.

    Those get big fast and have a ton of people join in.


    Besides those

    you can't beat getting people pissed off at each other in the

    politics and religious categories
