Got scammed few times by Egold HYIPs Around $3k and now I regret why I wasted my money like that I don't do HYIPs (all scams) anymore
That scam is VERY OLD (like me) I remember it from the 80's , or even late 70's. Car Washes are a good place to encounter them. Just about a month ago some guys tried to pull in on me , hanging out of their van driving down the street, lol.
Simey (Simon?) that's what makes it so funny. retro scams still work ... people think they know it all but ...!
I thought how i got scammed was stupid but hey some of you guys are really stupid as for the guy who got killed in nigeria hell every one gets thoese emails hallo i am africa i have no visa for you country i have 10 mil in a bank fly me to your country come to my country stupid ass holes i tell you i get 10 of these a day
i have been scammed a couple of time here at DP. however, i have been very lucky and my losses were very small. i learned an expensive lesson cheap.
Got scammed by Bin-Layer. It's a Layer-Ads clone, but a bad one. They still owe me around 85 euros. A few weeks ago, they said I would get it within a few days. In the last few weeks, they've been either offline or blocking me.
Paypal.com - bad news. Straddling the law as 'almost' a bank, they can get away with anything and don't care when you complain.
I have a site about scams so I obviously get to hear about a lot of them. My personal favourite though has to be one involving Stacey Finlay - she convinced family and friends that she was working undercover for the CIA and could use her resources to detect and cure all sorts of illnesses and ailments, all whilst they slept at night. Ultimately she conned her nearest and dearest out of just under $1m before her arrest!
For me its Pay It Forwards 4 Profits. They advertise how much money you can make by enrolling members into their program. The problem is you can enroll hundreds of members in your downline. However, if no one gets into their funded proposals, you make squat! If anyone reads about them, or is offered to join; my suggestion would be to run, not walk in the opposite direction!
My biggest scam is the one you pulled with digdong... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=374032
I got trapped in a multi level marketing project. They sucked my entire saving! I learnt a hard lesson! Never look for a quick buck!
