biggest-hosting.com was hacked

Just yesterday my reseller account under biggest-hosing.com was hacked.
Four hosted web sites under my reseller account are gone.
Index pages are replaced with a page having image of the Joker from last Batman movie. Some writings are in the Middle Eastern language and tones of hacker’s hotmail emails to contact and even the phone number.
I somehow entered to the server through FTP and got the page. Maybe will publish it. But the host provider probably is in shock now, while I am mad at them.
All the images on the pages are clearly led to curtain Middle Eastern web site.
    Anyway question.
Should I trust this web host? What should I do about them? I got angry because of the way they handle it.
It happened yesterday. I believe it is a serious RED ALERT issue for host provider.
They wrote me back: "Your issue was taken care off"
I go to the sites. One site now has that Hacker page in a different folder, other two don't work anymore.
I wrote them again, but already screaming.
Any advices. For them it will be for sure bad reputation.

it such a nice looking picture you have there on your site but for real is the problem with the hosting company? if that is what you think then the hosting provider is the one with the problem...all the best with negotiations with hacker

Thank you for admiring the picture. And there will be no negotiations, what are you talking about. If I could hack then I would talk to them, plus it's so undefined, who, where, and if the sources are legit.
I do my backups, my sites are safe.
My headache is either I should trust this host or find another?
I am curious if any other biggest-hosting clients got under the jam.

As for now there is nothing to check on my web, it's being cleared by the host.

Good job to have a full backup of each of your sites. Makes me reassess if I have full backups.

    Going to look now!

weird question. Did you change your passwords after you saw it was hacked? You should really begin consider keeping the content on a local pc, or go to a host that has multiple different snapshots of your site....

I don't think changing passwords really matters; if the host was hacked then the hackers will have access to your account regardless of your password. Also moving to a host like that will cause a big increase in your monthly payments ;)

Maybe I forgot how to read...? Doesn't say the host was hacked, but his reseller account was.

edited: Also, 19.95 a month can't really be that big of a jump could it? I know a host that does this for their resellers and keeps daily, weekly, and monthly at no additional charge...

Change hosts, review the host and tell them about it.

Your host should have better security implemented. I did a scan on them earlier and they have terrible security....
