These are my favorite quote saying: Do you brush your teeth?. Does a dog brush his teeth. Are you scared? Yes, I'm a 24 hour coward.
Hey Abhishek, Thank you for chosing my quote. I thought I missed it after reading your first list of winners. Cool! Anyway, here's one that I like a lot. I heard a speaker say it years ago, but cannot remember who the quote belongs to only the quote itself. I've looked at life in this manner since and have remained excited for years. Btw, this one is for you and the one who has been rudely peking at you in this thread...
Abishek, This is such a great idea. I really like it. Here's a few of mine. Some of them are popular and you may have heard them before, but I like them nonetheless. Never pick a fight with an old timer. If you win, there's no glory and if you lose, there's only shame. Never ride faster than your angels can fly. It's not the speed that kills. It's the sudden stops! Character is defined by what you do when no one is looking. Don't sweat the petty stuff, pet the sweatty stuff. I may have a few later as well. Mike
"When a hawkish congressman can’t find a lunch-hour handjob, the funds for waging war will dry up faster than an unlubricated Trojan."
Sorry, didn't read all 13 pages, but I'm betting these aren't in your list just yet: A few good quotes from Robert Heinlein: A society that gets rid of all its troublemakers goes downhill. Be wary of strong drink. It can make you shoot at tax collectors... and miss. Being right too soon is socially unacceptable I never learned from a man who agreed with me. Never insult anyone by accident. Never underestimate the power of human stupidity. One man's theology is another man's belly laugh. Sex without love is merely healthy exercise. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. Yield to temptation. It may not pass your way again. You can have peace. Or you can have freedom. Don't ever count on having both at once.
I really like this one, "Love all, trust few and follow one" This one really means a lot if you ask me, entrepreneuarilly and otherwise. One line that promotes world peace, trust and gives a direction.
Everyone Has talent, What is rare is the talent to pursue it through the darkest places where it leads.
these are my 3 favorite quotes i bring with me in life. Before every quote i have write a little text to why i choose these quotes. When i once told my father that i would never acomplish someting in life, he told me this Quote by Barbara de Angelis, he said the quote bellow and finished it of with " and someday you will do someting special to" it's someting i will always remember that. 1: “No matter what age you are, or what your circumstances might be, you are special, and you still have something unique to offer. Your life, because of who you are, has meaning.†Winston Churchill was a Great man who inspired me as a child, this quote i often think of when someting goes wrong for me. 2: Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm. This is another quote from Winston Churchill i will always remember, it makes me think of those day's when you wished you never left bed but still think of those day's you wanted to last forever. 3: Everyone has his day and some days last longer than others.
I like this: “The stupid neither forgive nor forget; the naive forgive and forget; the wise forgive but do not forget.†(Thomas S. Szasz)
"If you are patient in one moment of anger, you will escape a hundred days of sorrow." - Chinese proverb
"People demand freedom of speech as a compensation for the freedom of thought which they seldom use."
