    Agreed. But heck, we'll need some fast device to get it up that far. I wouldn't be too happy traveling in a puny little elevator for a kilometer.

    plus, if you have the "tallest" then everyone would want a piece of it...pretty soon the Discovery Channel is doing a show about your building.

    I can confirm the 1776 foot statement above for the new freedom tower where the world trade center used to stand. I was at the site of the WTC last night.
