Bigger Budget = Better Clicks?

I changed my budget from $25 to $150 on a campaign, and it seems like I am getting better converting clicks now. My CPC has remained the same, but the clicks are converting better by percentage. Has anyone noticed, and can google control the quality of your clicks, even if you pay the same price?

I doubt they could control the 'quality' of your clicks, as they're originating from the same keywords I'm assuming. But perhaps your lower budget was only allowing your ads to be showed at a certain time, or shown only at a certain position; maybe the bigger budget is negating that.

Actually this was a placement targeted campaign, and most of the placements are fixed.

How long have you been running this campaign for?

How long before you changed the budget?

You need at least about 30 conversions to safely assume anything. I doubt it has anything to do with Google.

I dont think google can control the quality of the clicks... its just that with more budget you get good exposure and can beat competition by bidding high for each keyword. Probably you are getting many more clicks and conversions due to the ad positioning change (you might have moved up the rank) :D

I think it affects your frequency, which is giving you better results. For instance, having your ad shown 1 out of 5 times is much less effective than having it be shown 3 out of 5 times (which increases the probability that an interested customer will be seeing it)

the budget has no bearing on the quality of the clicks BUT you may be getting a lareger statistical sample which makes it seem better.

Well said, definitely with you about this.If you don't have money to get your ad showed every time for each keyword you could be losing very precious customers.

I cannot prove it, but I think that's exactly what they do - Google has some fine algorithms for search results, so why couldn't they handle adwords in the same way?
