Does anyone know if this is a BigDaddy or "old version" data center? 66.102.9.104 If you go to http://www.123seotools.com/google/datacenters/rank/ and type in MP3 Editor (for example) into the keyword field and http://www.blazemp.com into the domain field, you will see why I wonder. Most of my keywords are the same like this...ranking high in some datacenters, but no where to be found in others. I am wondering if this is coming back or going.
I *think* it is the old, according to the semi-test that Matt Cutts gave us. But things are very irratic right now, serps are crazy, sites are dropping in and out. I wouldn't take anything from google too seriously right now.
Yea. It has been this way for a bit now. I am hoping things will kick back in. My traffic from Google has been cut in half. :/
66.249.93.104 is mentioned by Cutts as the preferred data center. There is a big thread on Webmaster World forums about sites going supplemental where "GoogleGuy" says he's aware of the problem and it will be addressed (paraphrased).
Welcome to Supplemental Hell. http://66.249.93.104/search?hl=en&q=site:www.blazemp.com&btnG=Google+Search But there is hope. GG posted (#176) this last night at http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum30/33386-6-30.htm
Hopefully things will return to normal soon. It's been a terrible three weeks -I've had to start taking on clients again as a bet hedge in case it doesn't improve. I've had 4 sites get hit hard with this beast.
PS - thanks for bringing that up. I always thought the Supplemental issue I had been hearing about was something unrelated.
Mystik - I see things coming back to normal a bit, my pages have started to come back across some data centers. use this tool to monitor your index pages on google datacenters. http://www.123seotools.com/google/datacenters/saturation/ hope this helps
I built a Big Daddy tool which you may find useful to quickly see your Big Daddy positions etc. http://www.conorhannah.com/datacenters/datacenters.asp
great tool... woa... I didn't realize Big Daddy was 50% of all the search results! I thought was only a few DC's for G! to test.
blazemp.com has not yet started recovering, but I will, of course, be keeping an eye on it. Two of my sites that took a dive earlier (with Jagger) have started doing well again, though. Here's hoping that will stick and blazemp.com will follow. Good luck to you also!
Hey Mystik - looks like google fixed the supplemental pages glitch. Mine have all gotten indexed now and I dont see them supplemental. I have checked yours and it is the same thing. Shoot.. I can breath better now
I got dropped after being on the 3rd place for ages. I dont think im even on the first page now... Just this little fall is costing me $15 a day.
Check it tonight mystik. My affected site started recovery. I'm up to 120 indexed pages (from 36) with no supplementals. I just looked at yours, and don't see any supps either.
I actually meant keyword rankings and the traffic that comes from them. Those have not yet recovered, even though the pages are no longer supplimental.
