Bigandfree.com is scam or not?

They way you can tell that all they did was format the server look in you file manager your files are still listed as being there but when you try to download them it says file removed

 

so why they open when the files not exist and remote upload not working
not professional work

 

I can not decide if I should still use BF for storage I think in the near future one of 2 things could happen 1 max file size for free users droped to 200mb to 400mb & files only last 45 to 60 days without downloads 2 might be shut down. So what should I do use them or find another file host

 

I sent BF a email asking about what happend to all the file here is the responce email I got

Some files wee lost in the transfer but some others are there but just not
displaying properly.

I finally got my premium account nice will have to wait and see if most of my files are back

 

How come I didn't get premium account?

 

Update 2/1/2010:
1. Remote upload still not working.
2. some files are not displaying.
3. Internet connection is being upgraded today so site is slow.
4. I am programming the script for issuing free memberships, please allow a day or two.

It will be atleast 24 to 48 hrs before the bugs are worked out then we can use this file host again

 

I think BigAndFree is just dead, no need to hope that they can become even the same as the original one

 

Guys I wanted to know what happened to my files and to my bonus points, so I wrote an email regarding this and just check this reply from kevin



Ha ha that is very funny. He thinks he can become no. 1 and beat other file hosts just by having non copyrighted materials. He thinks people will purchase premium account just to download each other marriages or vacational vidoes. Ha ha that is so funny. B&F AND KEVIN A BIG SCAMMERS

 

I am getting atleast a 1yr free premuim account & I have sent them 3 emails alway get a reply with 45 min so atleast they are tryin to make things better I am gonna stay with a few more months to see what happens

 

I got this email from them today about download speeds the bandwidth is capped at 100meg until
they get the proper switch which is on order. Hopefully the last piece of
the puzzle. Then it will be 1gig bandwidth across 5 download servers.

Right now uploading is fine downloads do not work for me

The moral, stick with ones which has good reputation. dont rely on new ones comin every day.

 

Did you email them and ask for it not you will ever get it I did and got it within 45 min
Do not even ask now wait till downloading works again

 

Bigandfree is back 100% try it out download speed still seems a little slow but might be faster for some. You will have to start over 85% to 95% of the files were deleted.

 

No back 100 %.

Remote Upload and Copy File don´t work.

 

You can upload download just fine without remote stuff download is still a little slow they are still work on that
