BIG Yahoo Changes

I have been watching Yahoo pretty damb close lately and I have been noticing alot of changes....

One of the latest changes I have seen is that you can no longer see which sites are in the directory anymore: They removed the directory category link from the normal search listings...

It seems to me that they are testing their "paid search" ( Sponsored Search, Local Sponsored Search, Search Submit Express Search Submit Pro, Marketing Console, Search Optimizer, Product Submit, Travel Submit, Local Listings, Directory Submit ) models BIGTIME right now and for some reason they want to hide which sites are in the directory and which are not.... It seems to play a role in a sites visability, but I don't think they want you to be able to tell that easily so they are removing the category listings in the serps...

There is no other reason to remove the directory category link. It promotes the directory, which you would think is a good thing....

I'm almost positive that Yahoo will very soon be a total paid search engine.

If this doesn't look like a recipe for a totally paid search engine, I don't know what does:

    Sponsored Search
    Local Sponsored Search
    Search Submit Express
    Search Submit Pro
    Marketing Console
    Search Optimizer
    Product Submit
    Travel Submit
    Local Listings
    Directory Submit
