    Gotta say LG...

I completly disagree with your last two posts...
I think they are opinions, based on no research and forum hear-say and folklaw (Internet folklaw???)

My weight was cut down by half over the last few hours. I also noticed something weird in the DP Back Links Tracked. According to the tracking tool, my site montesdemalaga.com went down from 12 backlinks to zero, while www.montesdemalaga.com went up from 12 to 516 !! I run coop ads on montesdemalaga.com (without the www.), so that might explain my sudden drop in weight. All the while, google still reports 12 backlinks on either montesdemalaga.com and www.montesdemalaga.com.

It's my intention to throw in the hear-say ;) Because I want facts to prove that Google isn't using API to spy SEO people. On the other hand, I also want facts to prove that Google is spying us via API.

    Any takes?

Um why would I be scared of Google "spying" on my? I don't give a shit what they do, I just think we should switch from the Google API to something else because it's always changing. Not only does it make it harder on us, but also Google will see the sharp increase/decrease in links and will do something about it probably.

You just don't get it. I throw in the benefits of doubt.

There're people saying the spy thing but some don't agree. I just want proof of whatever they say :)

I think it goes without saying that www and domain.com (www.domain.com and domain.com) are the same darn thing. Google and other SE's should weigh that into the equation when counting bl's IMHO. It seems silly to have to do a 301 redirect to get this to work that way. I've been setting my DNS up since 95 according to Orielly's "DNS and BIND". I have always used an A record of domain.com pointed to an IP, then a CNAME of www and so on.

Again, I think it pretty much goes without saying that www.domain.com and domain.com are the SAME THING. Or at least they should be. I realize half the world seems to create www.domain.com and completley neglects "domain.com". That's just bad DNS IMHO. Anyway, I realize this goes a little off topic, but I would gather that the reason you see the problem you mention is because in googles eyes, www.domain.com and domain.com are two different things/sites, though they are NOT, and should not be.

    Anyway..
