Hi all, I have a huge list of 90.000 (buyers and seller developers) ALL webmasters. it is about website tools, flash tools, xml, menus, players, css. The quality of the list is really top. I have been thinking about to promote some clickbank products sending 2 times a month newsletter to members. I never did email marketing, so I do not have much experience on this, I would like to do it if it may bring some good earnings. I would appreciate some suggestion or idea regarding a good practice to monetize this list or some ideas for choosing a product to promote. Thank you for your comments.
You're about to get bombarded with people that want you to promote their product, be careful mate especially if that list is gold. You can kill it quick if you promote the wrong/shitty over hyped product. If I were you I'd work with vendors directly so they can offer your list something special/discount/bonus/etc. I have a few things that you might be able to include as a free bonus as I'm out of the niche now feel free to reach out - and again be careful with what you promote - that first blast will shape the success/failure from here on out.
Yes, listen to NC ^ A 90k list is pretty massive, you should be looking to partner with other vendors / sites rather than JUST promoting things. Some people would do anything to get you to email for them.. .those are the ones you don't want to work with, you want others on your level, who can send traffic in large numbers back to you in return - if you have free gifts, signups you can offer in return, for mailing about other peoples gifts or sales pages.. be careful with it and don't just bombard it with random products
Do not send them only affiliate links send them some quality information or tricks and get them know that with the help of the product you are promoting they can make more.
I can offer product I own: http://prolandingpages.net - If You decided it is worthy for Your list we can discuss creating some kind of freebie for them or something that will bring more of their attention
