Big Web Links Directory Updates and Notes

As many of you already know, Big Web Links Directory is now PR7, and traffic is on the rise each day. It looks like the category pages are becoming PR5, with the secondary pages of each category all being PR4 for 4 more pages deep (the most that existed at the time of the snapshot). I wanted to drop a few related notes to everyone.

Most of you probably know that promotion and marketing does not stop at this point. Things are just getting started, which brings me to the first announcement. I'm about to do a large PayPerPost campaign for the site. If you have a blog and have not already blogged about it, feel free to take advantage of it. The PayPerPost campaign will also benefit listed sites even more as more and more traffic comes to the site each day. As some of you know, a goal for Big Web Links is to drive real, direct traffic as much as link value, which is something different from most directories. This seems to be working out well so far.

A couple new tweaks have also been implemented to offer additional benefits for listed sites.

In other news... Things are starting to heat up with Web Directory List. It's only been a few days since I took ownership of the site, and traffic is soaring. I am working on it heavily now too. CDH Web Directory is already really strong and gets a lot of direct traffic. I work on it daily too, of course, but my current main focuses are on the above two sites, and, of course, Alive Directory.

Nice idea, blog posts will surely increase traffic as well as increment in Technorati, digg and other bookmarks for it. Good Luck as always
