Big surprise, google index 10300 pages of my site.

Ok it was out of the line and I apologise but think of that, you are telling people to dump sitewides, I have a sitewide link on a site with close to 1.000.000 pages indexed (user submitted content) can you imagine what will happen if big G sees that I am loosing these kind of links overnight? (they are not pointing to the directory)

 

and i had 10600 and now i have 1300

 

In my article i just point to people to try some things ..

They can always revert back .. But what if they help ?

 

So all we have to do is put site wide links pointing to the competitor's site?

If the guy has very few IBL's i guess you could hurt him, altough not all the website are affected by this ..

Number of indexed pages is only important for Co-Op weight or Link-Vault vaultage.

Same for me, i have 5,000 pages indexed but only 20 hits a day. Need to be on page 1
