    Hi

Last night in Cornwall we had winds of upto 80mph. This morning there were broken fences, a few trees and general damage.

I popped down to the sea for a few snaps of Porthleven and Poldhu cove have a look here where I published them

    Porthleven

Sadly you cant see how big they really are, but hey ho

Hmmm, in Holland we had only mild wind, and a little bit of rain, nothing else. Strange how much that can change over a few 100 kms. Nice pics!

    Thanks for the comment.

It is strange how the weather can be so localized. My wifes mother only a few hundred miles away also had little wind last night.

I live north of St Austell, 550 feet above sea level and we catch all the gales. It was pretty bad last night and it looks like it'll be blowing a hooley again tonight. I've got the torches and candles out just in case. They're great photos but mind you don't get washed into the sea Jim!

Very high winds here in Dublin but thankfully the worst of the rain is gone. Most flights to Dublin have either been cancelled or diverted.

We have a forcast for 150km/h winds so its perfect conditions for flying a kite  but it is supposed to be dying out later.

The winds are coming in from the Atlantic so there is a nasty nip in the air, I would hate to be in Western Ireland at the moment as they are getting the full force of the bad weather.
