Big Spike in Amount Paid Per Click today :)

FWIW, my site is up - just a bit, but steadily through the month.

I did make changes and now frustratingly don´t know what can be marked up to my new ad format, what to mark up to G´s new ad choices. I suspect my site would have been down but those changes I made somehow offset any neg effects of the recent AS changes.

 

I should mentione that the keywords I'm talking about are travel based. May is not a big travel month so some decline is not unexpected. I expect things to go back up in June.

 

I was sure that there will be others who are seeing similar behaviour as me. I am seeing higher payouts per click for the last few days. For the same number of clicks I am seeing almost double the revenue. Could be that google has changed a thing or two as to which ads to show where .. or the auction on particular keywords have shot the ad prices up.

 

I was averaging about $30/day, since the mysterious rise last week my ave has shot up to over $50/day

 

What kind of keywords are we talking about. I haven't seen a big jump in stock, travel or ESL...

Actually, my cpc has varied greatly over the past week. Some days are good - like today - but other days are awful - like yesterday. The difference is pretty drastic. I'm talking a per click change in amount of 600-1000% from one day to the next. That's pretty crazy.

 

Hmm, for me yesterday was one of the best days in the month, while today it's just average

 

argh! i had the same amount of impressions as usual for a saturday but did 50% of the earnings.

 

Now I fully undertand why you have to have a cetain post amount before your links become active.

 

You need to become a Meso Tort Lawyer who also runs a webhosting business. You will be in the money in no time.

 

Ugggg, where do these guys come from!!! That's three or four spammers/cheaters in one day!
