This is BS. Guys need to actually read the entire article rather than just the exaggerated head line.

Where is the roof? I just drove past the stadium and its very much there. :/

I only made the comparison because you did. The conflict with Pakistan is just one reason for the "common man" to feel unsafe in India.

I figured from your first statement that you found foreign concerns laughable.
Journos hyping it up. A ceiling is not the same as a roof!

Still, was it an error of design or implementation to have the cables unsupported?
What other "errors" are there that will be found in such new buildings?

So, it's not a big deal? Do you want the village buildings to collapse to impress you? It is a big deal and you will know it only if you have worked on a large project. Believe me, bridge collapse, dogs on beds or feces all over are just the pointers to what you call a big deal. There can be many catastrophes in the side wing waiting to happen. Apparently, you are just going by what the politicos say and your own weak presumptions. It's utterly very difficult to handle all those things simultaneously when many things surface.

Actually it isn't one reason, but its the main reason. We don't have any in-direct threats from our rivals either our friends r rivals we take it face to face, its only this nation which uses backdoor methods to create havoc.

I didn't mean international concerns laughable but our own OC reasoning was outrageous - just to be clear.

entire roof hasn't fallen down, that's agreed I have pics of the roof too. Its just part of the false roof, what would u do if it had fallen when the competition was on ? The first immediate reaction in the stadium would be as an terror attack, now at least we know this is due to either heavy rains r poor construction.

Or that something doesn't collapses on them . If an earth quake strikes India during the game you can expect to see a lot of dead athletes .

Well, its just there are many bad kinda people in society. And I think most of them got the opportunity in this project and so they took more money themselves and invested less in the buildings and construction. :|
I wish Govt should cancel their license so that the one doing next would think.
Corruption is very bad in India. [IMG] [IMG]

WTF ? I knew that India has retarded leaders but this is beyond imagination . I would not stay in one of those places even if you pay me . It would be humiliating for someone to stay in those festering toilets they call chambers .

I've stayed at a hotel in Burkina Faso and they had better conditions . I always laughed at that silly Incredible India campaign , but it was right . This is incredible . [IMG]

    Lol , you're on a joke roll today .

Just in case someone does gets confused i was talking about the entire room looking like a dirty WC .

I can be a sport , but I don't know about the poor athletes that will stay in those rooms . The whole situation seems to bee kind of shitty for them .

Of course it is shitty. It is also shitty to have a prime minister intervene in the matters of mass cleaning of public toilets. (I could understand if he helped his wife with her routine)

Ya toilets are a well known problem in India . I do find it ridiculous that the government replied that "People should not criticize they should help" . Great way for a leader to respond to accusations . But oh well India has a big list of problems and most of them are related to corruption and weak leaders .

Caught you this time. It's the lack of toilets that's the problem, not the poor toilets.

Lol . I was referring to the lack of toilets (crappiest thing in India after politics) . As for poor toilets , I've never meet a poor toilet in my life .And if anyone tells me they got a rich toilet i just think they're full of shit .

Poor things. Let's not blame the toilets for all that they now look like. You know, every dog has his day.

At last, they seem to have woken up a bit. They have a 24 hr deadline set for themselves. So, I'll just have to keep waiting till that expires. After all, this time it's set by themselves.
