Hey guys... here's my problem, I woke up today and my website got 5 sales, and I got 2 more the day before. Its obviously converting very well BUT... none of these sales were from affiliates, and honestly I personally have not done very much promotion for this to be happening. My website is set up to where to visitor has to go through 2 pages, does this mean that the affiliate will lose the sale after the visitor goes to the 2nd page and buys? I did this on PayDotCom and I never had a problem, my affiliates would always get the sales. Doesn't the cookie stay and as long as someone purchases with that cookie on their computer that affiliate gets the sale or is there a way I can carry over the affiliates info to the next page? Please I want my gravity to go up and I know it can but I need affiliate sales. And I dont want to be stealing affiliate sales either... Here's my website http://www.internationalincomes.com I'm sure a many of you have already seen it from my previous posts on here.
The cookie stays on, no matter how many pages the user goes through unless it's not overridden along the way. I checked your page, and the hoplink is shown on the order page, so everythign seems to be alright.
Ripped: Thanks for checking it, that's good to hear... I guess I just need more affiliates maybe Venrooy: how do you mean it didn't work? you mean it didn't take you to the next page? or you didn't receive an email?
But I think you should consider removing the e-mail opt-in, maybe having the user enter only his country of residence from a drop down box and possibly age Because the way it is now, you have a opt-in on the main page that the customer must enter. I think that this might scare away some affiliates because you're forcing the customer to opt-in and the affs don't know what happens next.
