We're looking to setup a website here in the new future. The issue is, our combined experience in creating and managing a website doesn't amount to much. So we're going to need a lot of help with this, and I'm willing to shell out a reasonable amount of cash for it. Here's what we need. We're looking for a fairly streamline design. Basically it's going to be setup sort of like a blog (I believe we both agreed on something in a wwtdd.com style). Basically that is all we need besides a couple other small pages, the navigation, and a page to house a list of our articles (our articles will be separate from daily posts). We'd also be wanting two separate skins of the site for our own personal blogs (a new banner and color scheme would be the only thing to really change about them). I really have no idea what would be needed to run all this code wise. Obviously someone would need to do the code for the page, but finding a system that would allow all this is over my head. RSS feeds and other typical crap would also need to be implemented for us. We also need a forum picked out for us and a skin for it. I suppose that would go with the design area as well. We need a good hosting plan. Something that will be able to take a big hit when needed. I really don't know how to put all this. We just need someone that will put the entire site together for two website simpletons and will help us maintain it. So, give me your offers, point me in the right direction, do whatever. elmbrent, I accepted your Xfire invite. If I don't reply within ten minutes of you messaging me though, I'll likely be off for the night so just send me an email at with your portfolio, quote, ect. We REALLY do need someone that can do everything listed above, including putting the site together. This isn't just designing, coding, and leaving us with files we haven't any clue about. As I've said in my replies, if you can't hang around to help us maintain it (you'd be paid extra for that) then you will need to get the site up and running for us and make sure everything is in check before leaving.
