After being up on the internet for 3 months and using a Google Sitemap script, I've noticed that none of my pages are showing up in SERP whatsoever. I have a video site that runs identically to Youtube, where you have a video, with a title, keywords, description paragraph, etc., all inputted/exported from a database. It seems as though none of it is being "seen" whatsoever in search engines. However, the front page of the video script which actually lists the titles will show up in SERP's...but that's nowhere near as effective as the actual video pages which each have their own paragraph description. What do I do? I really didn't bank on search engines not being able to notice such a thing. According to my webmaster account, it successfully cached over 680+ links, which includes all of those individual video pages...it's just not appearing in search results. I had an idea yesterday - I dumped the video titles and descriptions from the database, and placed them within a new page of my site, and re-did the Google Sitemap. Hopefully at least that will get recognized. The problem with that is that I'll have to re-do it every few weeks.
Could be a couple of problems. First I would check to see if the database driven pages were listed as suplimentals. I'm guessing they were if they never showed up. Several things can cause this, although the most likely is that you were not changing the title and Description meta tags for each page. These need to be unique for each page or Google will stick them in the suplimental results. Next be sure there is sufficient unique content on each page so that it looks different then the other similar products. Most of my sites are database driven and they do show well in the serps
Supplemental results do show in the search results. Try searching for an exact phrase using "quotes". Also recognize that three months is not very long at all in Google time. I have seen many sites get ignored for much longer.
the meta descriptions should change according to the video descriptions there should be code that allows you to do this
