Even I had the same problem, I encountered drop in sales and was not able to find the fault. I checked my billing system a lot yet I wasn't able to find the problem. later one of my pottential client told me about paypal problem
well, there is always problems in all big companies which give online services to others. PayPal customer support is not good in my experience.
I have had this problem for weeks now, I get the error that my Credit Card Provider is apparently not permitting the transaction, when I have rang my bank about 50 times notifying them of the problem and they say they haven't changed anything on my account. I rign PayPal back, and, no it isn't their problem. And I am not being disrespectful in anyway, but it is more frustrating when everytime I ring PayPal I get through to someone who can barely speak a work of English - and even has a go at me because they can't understand me (well I won't tell you what I said to them because I would probably get banned from this forum ). PayPal have a problem, and I tell you now they are hiding something, because a company of that size would rectify a problem like this as soon as it is discovered. They must be losing millions too. Oh and to top it all off, I apparently owe PayPal $68.97, when my PayPal balance is in the positive sector, and I have never been in debt with them before...figure that out. It's a shame really they used to be my favorite payment vendor.
Actually, if you bring in a lot of $$ to paypal, you can get your own account manager. Usually, they will call you back within hours after you cotnact them. But to get to that level, you got to be paying them over $3000 in fees. Thats alot of $$ to ignore.
