hi, all of a sudden sites like swreg.org, digitalriver.com, regnow.com not opening in any of my browsers...... I tried to open these sites in my laptop using another connection, it just opens smoothly...but in my home connection...it is not opening... other sites are working perfectly..... please help thanks
If its not opening only in your computer than most likely your ISP or your network router ( if you use any) may be blocking the sites
Have you tried another PC/laptop on the same home connection that isn't working? Basically if the laptop is working on a separate connection, try connecting it to the other connection and see if you can still browse to them. If you can than it's likely a PC related issue with the other computer.
It could be that your router is blocking these sites. If you were able to access them before then this could be just a temporary issue.
hi, please help me...I can't its not the problem of my laptop..because...I can visit those sites if I connect my laptop with another network connection... and I am 100% sure...these sites haven't blocked me... so please tell me..whats wrong...and what do I need to do.. any suggestions... please
With another network connection? Does this mean another ISP than the one that does not let you visit the site? As mentioned, you probably need to contact your service provider to check whether they have blocked this site or something.
no, they haven't blocked my site.....yes another isp..I can surf easily from there..... actually it happened this....I could easily surf those websites 10 days back,..while surfing facebook..10 days back.one guy sent me a link..I clicked it..and that was a virus.....I am using Dell Inspiron laptop,... so..I reverted my laptop to FACTORY STAGE... AFTER THAT THE PROBLEM STARTED.. PLEASE HELP..
THE PROBLEM IS THIS.. I can surf any other sites except...swreg.org, regnow.com, digitalriver.com, regsoft.com and I guess these all sites are related with digitalriver.com same network....digitalriver.com owns all these sites...... I can't visit this site from my connection right now on my laptop...but I can easily visit this site from my laptop if I use another isp connection..or If I connect with a proxy.... no idea whats wrong.......
It's possible you're caught up in a firewall at their end, blocking your IP from your primary connection. If after you got that virus your browser started committing mod_security errors, its possible your IP got caught up automatically because of that. Try rebooting your modem & router to see if you gather a different IP, and then if you can browse there. Or you can try contacting them if all else fails
