I would be mad if I had a huge traffic drop - PR doesn't really matter much anymore.

All my sites have dropped, but none of my traffic, so I think they probably readjusted the value been displayed in the toolbar, (maybe they felt it was too high).

I do have one or two directories, but they are not the only ones that dropped, (and some of my other sites did not use/sell any paid links).

If your traffic did not drop, why you care about PR unless you are selling ads based on PR. There was a PR drop for lots of site, including bignames. DOn't worry, be happy

In the last update alot of sites have lost their PR but if your ranking and traffic are fine then you need not worry about it.

Anybody, please post some links to the sites that lost PR? Do they all have something common?

If your traffic doesn't decrease means why you are worrying about PR.

I always worries about traffic only but not about pr.

PR dropped because of two reasons (my analysis)

    1. You had external links on your site without nofollow tag.
    2. Very few sites linked to yours with a dofollow tag.

So, if you didn't concentrate much on your link-building, or concentrated too much on link building, both ways, Google Won!

All the sites in my signature dropped.
But they have nothing obvious in common.

Some have nofollow, some are paid links most are not.

I dont worry about PR I did when I started years ago that was when it was used, but its always nice to see PR go up and not drop fast, my traffic is great and I take it just google are trying to again rule the net.

Why really do we all bother about google if we all used some one else then they wouldnt have anything, we all make google and if google started to drop or ban every one then they wouldnt have a search engine! lol
