like 10 or 15 sites of mine have just disappeared,

when I look at my adsense channels almost none of my sites rank in google

but yet I have a bunch of client sites, that have ranked and continue to rank great

I feel like I am cursed

Is it possible that you are more conservative (SEO methods) with client sites than your own?

I just do SEO for my own handful of sites, and I know I take lots more risk with some than others.

yeah that is probably it, but for some I swear there is nothing different, perhaps even a little duplicate content is a big flag

I've never seen them being this much strict on the issue of duplicate contents

I am seeing changes too. looks like they care more about the body text now. I had purchased an expired domain a week ago added few links (really few) now it is in first page for many keywords. my main domain is still sandboxed and I worked a lot on it than the new one so I hope it will be definitely number 1 when unburied.

Looks like my site which I thought was slowly coming out of the sandbox (showed some climbing results for a few days) has dissapeared again. Darn.

Welcome to the club. If you leave it alone and let it get out of date it will do better. :p My sites that I almost forgot about are now doing better in G.

Well, I'm focusingon content and spreading the word about the site. No use in getting upset about Google ranking when you can't do anything about it.
