I'm finally going to be posting the "big list of writing blogs" on www.AllFreelanceWriting.com (formerly SixFigureWriters.com) later today. If any of the writers on this board have a blog on writing, and they would like me to consider including it, please mention it here with it's official name and its URL. The list will be broken down into three groups: 1. Blogs for Writers (offering tips and resources for writers as the primary purpose of the blog) 2. Writers' Blogs (more personal blogs of writers, that detail their own writing careers or work) 3. Blogs on Blogging (applicable to writing online, but covers too much to lump it with the other blogs for writers) And if you don't have a writing blog yet, but are considering one, these 5 reasons to launch a writing blog might inspire you to get moving with that.
Hi Jenn, What a great idea. My information is as follows: 1. The Article Writer 2. http://www.thearticlewriter.com/blog 3. Probably category #3 -- I cover freelance writing and then some. I'll check your site out too and thank you. Regards, Matt
I'm Category 2. It's more of a WAHM (Work At Home Mom) kind of thing. RealMom.net http://www.realmom.net And sorry I never got back to you on the SixFigureWriter content. I saw the email with the attachment - I meant to tell you your plan was fine, but it slipped my mind. Sorry about that! Thanks! Rebecca
Here's is mine Title : Favorite Movie Reviews URL:favorite-movie-review(dot)blogspot(dot)com number 2 category
The first two were approved and added. Hersheys, are you a writer (as in a good part of your income comes from client work)? If not, and if there's no kind of link to a business site to sell the services, I can't add it to this kind of list, b/c it's completely non-writing-related. I made an exception in Rebecca's case only b/c I know she's a professional writer, and finding her business site isn't very difficult by just searching for her name. I'll publish the list shortly even though it's far from finished... it'll be a long work-in-progress for a while, as there are tons of writing blogs out there.
I'm not a writer unless a good part of my income comes from writing for others? LOL Come on Jenn. Good luck with your list. I'm not sure Rebecca is a writer. She's a professional big baby producer.
And I make damn fine ones at that! Thanks for the exception, Jenn. In the spirit of writing, I wrote about my WAHM writing career today to be added to the blog tomorrow.
My blog, my list, my rules. I'm not just going to add any blogs to the list b/c there happens to be "writing" on it. If the blog author is a writer in some kind of professional sense, I'll consider it. If the only thing they write is their own blog or the occasional poorly-written SEO article for a client, it won't get added. Pretty simple concept. There has to be something of value to the writing community, from tips to sharing experiences of their life as a writer. Otherwise, every blog in creation would be added, and that's not the point.
Aw, come on. Just make another crappy list of crappy blogs. Hey, you can call it "My Crappy List of Crappy Blogs."
lol Nah, then I'd call it Technorati. j/k Frankly, the list is more for my own benefit. lol I like to randomly choose a new one to look at now and then, and this way I have a list to go through when I feel like it. So my main interest at this point is finding all the little "hidden" writing blogs I've never heard of, or new ones.
Hi, I belong to 2nd catagory of bloggers:- Title:- Stock Markets http://moneymanagers.blogspot.com Thank you. Regards mav
