Not sure if this is the right forum, put if a MOD wants to move this thread, feel free.

Yesterday I had a huge jump in uniques. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this too.

I jumped from a daily average of around 300-350 uniques to 700 uniques yesterday.

On avergare my site usually has about 150 visitors on it at any one time, but yesterday it was sitting just over 410.....

I cant explain whats happened, has anyone else had this happen too?

These hits from Google? If so, you're on the winning end of the algorithm burp that has most sites around here dropping down. If it stays steady, congratualtions. You've been reranked.

I have been looking at my stats, which are still growing. Now over 1200 uniques a day.

Its all Google traffic for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Spoilers.

I made a post about 2 weeks ago about it and I guess with the book coming out on Saturday, everyone is going nuts trying to find out what happens.

Of course, I have no idea if any of the rumors I have posted are true, but it is now my number 1 page on the blog and it is also the number one search query too!

Good old Harry weaving his magic for me! :D

Maybe an amazon affiliate link to purchase the book or DVDs based on the book would convert better for this type of traffic.
