Hi, We have spent the last month trying to work out why our bounce rate and visit stats in Google Analytics for paid visits have been wildly inflated & inaccurate. It wasn't until about a week or so ago we found out about the change on August 11th. Having investigated further, it appears that a combination of running A/B tests & running some server based redirect rules (one being to force users to be on lower case urls to stop duplicate pages) are causing havoc with the figures. When we stop the A/B tests & redirect rules the figures return to normal. So it appears there are some problems with the update and anything that is performing a redirect outside of the analytics code. The question is... How can we continue using Google web optimizer (for A/B testing) and server based redirects in the future without affecting the Google Analytics paid figures? Many thanks for your help in advance...
