Big google traffic loss 1/26/09-so far 1/31/2009

    My site daily traffic 4000 unique per day and 11000 pageview a day from google SEO

    Suddenly huge traffic above 90% drops down from google.. now 200 a day between
    1/26/09-so far 1/31/2009.. i am panic....
    and I checked my index.. no change index number.. index ratio got better from 89% to 81%... I can't understand what 's going on... My site got penalty~ from google.. Please.. Share info about this situation~~

    Search your keywords on Google and see if you rank for them as normal, if your not then you most likely got penalized :(

    I heard if site penalized, index ratio gets worse.. BUT, my site index ratio get better ..

    Well then, if your sure you didn't penalised you most likely drop down heavy on the SERPs for one reason or another. Hence not reaching the same amount of visitors..

    It could mean you've slacked on your SEO work or your competitors have uped the anti ~ do a search like I recommended and see if you still rank.

    you should always maintain the list of keywords for which you were ranking - by that way you might know where or what went wrong .
