    Hey,

    I can't work out why I am getting bigger gaps between my menu's in FireFox but not in internet explorer.

    If anyone could help here it would be much appreciated, thanks!

    Start with a universal reset and afterwards fix up the spacing on all your elements.

    Also I just happened to see
    background-position: center middle;
    no "middle"... "center" works for both horiz and vert... and they are I think the defaults, so you could just say "center" and the second value is always assumed center also... or maybe you don't have to say either.
