Big gains in the serps this morning

I got some good returns from MSN last night for one of my sites.

 

I continue to see drops. I feel like the Yankees...waiting for that miracle 8th inning to get back on track.

 

Don't like seing drops in MSN, but I don't mind seeing the Yankees drop. I am a die hard Jays fan.

 

I'm seeing a HUGE increase in MSN traffic in the last few days. But as far as I know, my rankings are the same. I've had a top ten ranking for my main keywords since the beginning.

 

Yes! Go MSN!

You guys/gals made me look and I am sitting in the #1 spot for my main KWP Phoenix Real Estate, see here. Kick a$$! Glad I looked... no wonder my MSN traffic has been up too. I just figured they were finally getting a better market share since I have been in the top five since the new MSN came out and getting very little traffic.

 

did any of you guys realize that they actually changed their algo today? that's why there's big differences in rankings.

not to mention you can now type in sports players names or sports teams and get up to date info.. pretty sweet.

 

Nope, didn't have a clue. I usually pay no attention to MSN. But I'm glad they changed it, cause definitely works out in my favor.

 

yup..big algo update...i just did a couple of searches and they seem to be showing better results than yahoo in my opinion.

i believe MSN will soon hit up

 

MSN is still working out some of the bugs IMHO, but there is the possibility by this time next year they will be in the number 2 position. Unless Bill releases the hounds from hell marketing giants on the search engine world..lol

As an example one of my sites came up for appraisal schools and I have no info on those type schools on my site. It was ranked like # 3 or 4. These type issues need to be worked out but all in all I do like the MSN results better than yahoo.

 

I am seeing one of my sites dropping for many related search terms. I don't think that makes MSN have better results.

 

I'm still not sold on MSN yet.

My main site is #2 for its main KWP.
My secondary site is #19 for its main KWP, while a friend of mine who does not work on his site at all is at #15.
My third site which I have not changed a single thing on sonce at least January or February is placing #1 for its main KWP.

I just don't get it...

Though I never paid any attention to other SE's besides Google, I believe we need to watch MSN, Bill has the Benjamin's to promote his SE to #1 if he if and when he feels like it. And, once they get it near perfected, he might just do that!

 

I am pretty dissapointed. I lost my main keyword rank "Online Games". I used to rank about 11 and now I can't even find my site. I'll have to make some changes.

 

It is far from perfected right now.
