Is there any types of suggestions anyone can give on better placements, or adjustments?

i think the ads must be shown without the need to scroll down, let the first thing the user see is the ad

 

I too placed the ads at top in our blog. But many people are suggesting to move it somewhere so that people can come to the page frequently to read the content.

 

I definitely recommend you exclude any/all Google Advertisement from main landing pages - which in your case seems to be your Homepage; simply because this alone can increase your CPC.

Secondly, place Advertisements at the Top of your page. One thing you want to bear in mind is that to increase your CTR, you need to make the Advertisements either 1) Stand out OR 2) Blend in.

Blending your Advertisements in will increase your CTR, but may have an effect on your earnings. If they stand out, then it may lower your CTR, but increase your Profits because the clicks will be much more purposeful, targeted and relevant - less likely to be accidental.

But, just experiment!

thanks everyone.. i do rotate in google ads in top header banner area when no ads are present from purchased ad placement.
