Hi, as we knows that these days ad blocking plugins for browsers available, so while surfing websites users and now a days even dummy users can block the ads and can surf the sites Ad-FREE So, if it will get popular and every one going to block ads how will webmasters and bloggers will earn revenue?? i am just wondering if there is any solution discovered for this so far??
The only solution is to build a better and bigger site in order to get more visitors to minimize the chances of using ad block plugins by users..
Integrate CPA campaigns with your content. But I think the next step is going to be web sites that detect adblock and refuse to display content if it's activated.
Can't see the majority of people enabling this option at all. Sure for pop up blockers but not for anything else Regards Dickie
don't worry much.. it have been figured out long time ago.. adsense run by google.. when all user know how to block ads.. google ads revenue also will affected by it also.. they will have their way.. eg google can make randomize ip and random domian.. the ads blocker can't block them.. another way is the adsense will hosted by user it self.. the possiblity in endless..
it's simple, more sites will drop, more people will be competing on seo ranking, and driving targeted visitors to their sites
not going to happen and nothing to worry about , either modzilla or ie stop the ad ons from being entered into their browser.
All itll mean is that adsense will change how they show ads. If i use certain sites at school itll block adsense but other ads are displayed. So they will stated to use things like iframes, or we just host the ad code in a seperate file and use a direct link to it. Not really a problem i dont think. You really think google is not gonig to figure a way around this? Its how they make their money, they HAVE to.
Hello... Then i wouldnt rely on adsence or others and try to sell people a service or products thx malcolm
if you get enough daily traffic you can start approaching certain advertisers personally... eliminates the middle man. its harder but in the end your sales pitch could be that you have broader audience due to not being blocked
All the big browsers need ad revenue, including Microsoft's Bing and Yahoo so even though ad blocking is available it will never be a major concern, I wouldn't worry about it. Visitors who go to the trouble of installing an ad blocker aren't the type of visitors to even consider looking at your ads with or without an ad blocker anyway, again....don't worry about it.
I think the add-ons that are available to block ads block Javascript instead of ips. So, it's of no use to host domains on different ips and all.
up till now the ad blocking is not so popular , only few users know about it , and If the people who are using ad blocking increased we have to know that every day there are thousands of new people know about the internet . Google sure will have a solution , I may think that If this problem is become popular , google may accept using pop up windows , or something like that .
