Have you ever called your self the "CEO" of your multi-$100 web company?

    I know I have:)

I'm interested in hearing your responses and maybe a little back story, thanks!

I never use a title like CEO or President when describing my position in my company. It's not important. My clients only care about one thing: can I get the job done for them? If I can, they don't care if I call myself the janitor.

(To qualify this statement I closed a $25,000 deal this past Monday).

    It's funny you mention that.

I've been dating quite a bit recently... when they ask me what I do for work, I neglect to mention my "real job" that I do 2 days a week downtown... I tell them about how I am the CEO of xx companies (last number was 11).

Of course their jaws drop and dollar signs spring up in their eyes just like the cartoons! It's a good test really... make it known you have money, let the money "disappear" for a while, and see if they disappear along with it.

Who knows... maybe i'm just a greedy guy, but I don't like to share.

Anywho, it's fun to say i'm the President and CEO of x company, makes me feel powerful - even though i'm just a grain of rice in this big ole net-paddy.
