Big Companies coping content

Dear Friends,
I am maintaining a website related to finance in India. On this weekend while searching for some information I found the copy of my home page – http://www.savingwala.com copied to http://www.business.headlinesindia.com/savings/index.html.

The site who has copied my content is managed by one of the Delhi based web development companies – Compare Infobase, Janak Puri.

Will you please lend me a helping hand to sort out the issue?

I have some experience dealing with this issue...it's a nuciance when sites steal your content. I wrote a blog post on dealing with this issue, which should give you the info you need:

First inform them through a strict email with legal cyber crime issues and let them a warning not to repeat again. Put a banner of Protected by copy escape on your site as well.
I am sure they will remove your content.

 

call Compare infobase, and send them a letter via courier. I am sure the company will act soon. The contact details you will get easily from naukri.com.

 

Ask them to link to you and get some link love from it.

You can also send an Infringement Notification Mail/Fax to Google so that they will take that site out or their index. I did that for one of my sites.
