I've debunked several of them, others are so obviously spliced together, it's a wonder you were able to grasp them as reality.

You know, it was only one post prior. I can't fathom you can't even remember a few brief seconds ago, but:

Alex Jones makes his living as a slick talking fear pimper ready to unleash a thousand unverified and bogus claims at any given time. I make no claim of being a great debater, nor do I seek it. I've already debunked him several times and will continue to do so as long as you and yo-yo sit on his site everyday like pound puppies waiting for the latest tabloid journalism marketed to young angry white males with low IQs.

Just something to pass the time of day ;)

Someone saying it, doesn't make it so. I've seen nothing convincing, how about you? Who is entitled to privacy in public and what authority gives that entitlement?

    Thank you.

Wouldn't want to step on anyone's toes now, would we? :D

    1) Not just one person. Dozens of examples of it playing out on TV news, in real life, everyday. I think that's significant.

    2) You're welcome. <snicker>

I've not seen anything noppid, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. If there are studies/examples that indicate such, I say bring them to the discussion of the topic. It would certainly back up your point that they exist.

What exactly are you talking about? Can you debunk the links I posted are not? Here is the reality of America today:

Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (MADE IN JAPAN)
for 6am. While his coffeepot (MADE IN CHINA) was perking, he shaved with
    his
electric razor (MADE IN HONG KONG). He put on a dress shirt (MADE IN SRI
    LANKA
), designer jeans (MADE IN SINGAPORE) and tennis shoes (MADE IN
    KOREA).

After cooking his breakfast in his new electric skillet (MADE IN INDIA) he
sat down with his calculator (MADE IN MEXICO) to see how much he could
    spend
today. After setting his watch (MADE IN TAIWAN) to the radio (MADE IN
    INDIA)

he got in his car (MADE IN GERMANY) and continued his search for a good
paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging and fruitless
day, Joe decided to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (MADE IN
    BRAZIL
) poured himself a glass of wine (MADE IN FRANCE) and turned on his
    TV
(MADE IN INDONESIA), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job
    in.AMERICA...

    Keep this circulating

That would take research. I know it's out there. I mean after all, I'm not the only one with the same perspective, am I? But your point is valid.

Now let me ask you... I posted that quote earlier with a thought on my mind to share later with another poster. But he seems to be done for today. So I'll put this out there for all. I can't pick on him if he aint here dammit.

Opening the door to cameras will lead to the use of face recognition software being used. It's the only reason for these camers IMO.

Now, this technology is very flawed. It has to operate on more variables then a human of course. But in legal circles it is said an eye witness is your worse witness. They are nortoriously unreliable!

So now we have a computer doing something a human can't do well, Identifing people.

Guess what happens? There are false positives! Yep that's right! You are on your way to a great day out in public and completely innocent of everything.

However the computer and camera have seen you and identified you as a murder suspect. Suddenly cops surround you. Remove you to the police station. You are helpless to say you aint the guy.

It happens already. Based on the quote above, which I believe in, what do you think of your day being pissed on by a computer and a camera?

Exactly? I'm exactly talking about the fact that you clearly cannot read, or you would have noted where I said specifically I didn't see the video with the general. That, is exactly, what I'm talking about :D

This is excellent! Something I can work with! You see, Joe is the very same person that complains about gas prices going up in the USA to about where they were in Germany in the mid-80s. Joe whines and moans about prices being to high, but never has a complaint when those new Nikes that would otherwise cost him several hundred dollars, are bought at Foot Locker for $79.00. Joe is the same person that will complain about the price of tiles made in America, because of higher salaries, but not complain when he chooses tiles that were imported and cost lower to build the kitchen in his custom home.

American has been exporting work and importing goods since the turn of the century, yet for some who (may have) recently graduated high school, they think it's something new.

Just out driving around today, I saw two hummers on the road, untold SUVs, three Corvettes. I don't even remember how many new car dealer tags I saw. We passed right through a new housing division where homes are going up faster than ever, now that more people qualify to buy homes. If there are no good paying jobs, then surely I have not been introduced to the wealth fairy that delivers free bags of cash every month.

    4.7 percent and declining.

Gloom, despair and agony on me! I guess AJ didn't post that one on his site, eh?

It is better that ten guilty persons escape than that one innocent suffer.

To do nothing about anything, ever, is not a solution. Using this argument, we could come to the conclusion that we should never apprehend anyone for anything because someone may be innocent somewhere down the road.

Video cameras are used every day to identify people committing crimes. They identified those responsible for the subway bombings in London. While I've heard of no case (not saying one doesn't exist, but to argue it, one would have to exist) where someone was identified on video and falsely imprisoned, I submit that if one where to be identified on video in the act of a crime, but it was not that person, then said person would have been somewhere else. For example, said person was at the Mall purchasing new drapes for their living room. Store clerk can remember, credit card receipt would show the time, etc.

    It's a global economy!

Personally I would rather pay less and get more, which is what most American Consumers want. You can't pay an uneducated factory worker $75k per year to make alarm clocks. If you did, you'd likely have to be millionare to afford the clock.

There's no shortage of good paying jobs in the US and there are no less opportunities now than there were when my parents and grandparents were young. There is just less ambition and motivation, and a whole lot more bitchin'.

Hell in Wisconsin there are more people working today (under Bush that is) than at any other time in the states history. Roughly 3 million of the 5 million people here work. The rest are either in school, too young to work, retired, or incapacitated in some way.

God Bless that good old American Spirit, will and determination!

Sounds like the "angry white male with the low IQ" who understands how the average joe works.

I can read extremely well. Here are the links for you to debunk:

Here is the link of the old lady getting tackled in New Orleans:
    http://www.prisonplanet.com/Pages/Se...5policevid.htm

Here is the link of General Hayden who doesn't know the 4th Amendment:
    http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles...eralhayden.htm

By the way Gtech, I copy/ pasted those links from this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=57724&page=6

You posted right after I posted these links. Yet you didn't click on them. Funny.

This is like my second time posting these links. No one says anything everytime I post them. But then again, what can you say when confronted with the truth?

Thats funny, because the General of our Army seems to think differently.

Gen. Franks Doubts Constitution Will Survive WMD Attack

There, I highlighted it for you, since angry old white males with no college education like to pretend they don't see the important parts ;)

Well, this thread has certainly taken a turn for the worst.

As to the poster who commented on the constitution and privacy. Most people, include us Journalists, point to the 4th amendment. However, the 4th amendment, as read verbatim, does not guarantee a right to total privacy in all issues; rather it protects from unreasonable search and seizures without a warrant--in one's home.

However, what is "reasonable" and does this mean if the 4th amendment is elasticated, does privacy only exist in one's home? What if that home is not owned by the occupant?

This is why the issue of privacy is a heated topic and subject to change. For years the concept of a National ID has been on the table. Privacy activists claim that it violates our right to privacy. How so? How does the extrapolated and elasticated text torn from the 4th amendment apply to electronic data?

As for my official stance. I don't believe cameras deter crime at all. What they do is provide a record so crimes can be reviewed after the fact.

Yes, because clearly I don't accept urls with "prison" or "anti" as sources of information.

First link, which I saw before, is a no brainer. Mandatory evacuation, she was armed and pointing a gun at police officers. Don't know what state allows citizens to point weapons at law enforcement personnel and not suffer the consequences, regardless of age or gender. Also had a very noticeable splice in the file just before they took the gun away, but that's just a general observation.

Second link, nothing to debunk. Could be argued either way. What degree of reasonableness defines unreasonable? What degree of unreasonableness defines reasonable?

    Look at the conversation:

    http://www.dni.gov/release_letter_012306.html

Now look at the Fourth Amendment:
    http://caselaw.lp.findlaw.com/data/constitution/amendment04/
Looks to me like the General got it right on target, but was getting hammered by an unruly reporter looking to confuse him.

Apparently you are not aware that General Franks is retired.

You should have highlighted terms like "will likely" "would likely" "if that happens."

Even more important in his comments, is clear reason why "we" (I use that term loosely with you, since I'm not one to betray my country) is:

Yet you still choose the side of those that would do these very things. General Franks was pointing out just how important preventing terrorism is, but you failed to grasp that point, instead, choosing to focus on his opinion of what would happen if we let it happen. The very thing you fear, in his opinion, might happen, IF... If people like you choose to defend terrorists and make excuses for them, instead of dealing with them. Seems like that would be motivation enough for you to realize the threat, but apparently not.

General Franks was not seeking to give terrorists rights they do not have, but to show the importance of how vital national security is. A double edged sword :D

What you did not see of the old lady in the video was the gun she pulled on the officers. She is luck she was not shot.

As we have all seen lately, guns and old people can be quite dangerous ;)

She didn't aim the gun at the officer. Besides, what right do they have coming into her home with television cameras?

General Hayden said that "probable cause" was not mentioned in the 4th amendment, and he was dead wrong, even though he was certain he was right. And if the NSA is wrong about that, I wonder what else they're wrong about.
